Doug worked with Director Ryan Wick to create and coordinate the Special Effects for his first short film ‘Chance’ which is now playing the film festival circuit. The movie had it’s U.S. premiere at the Eerie Horror Film Festival where it wad nominated for Best Director and then also screened at the Big Apple Film Festival in NYC.
A dark and atmospheric thriller about a young woman who spends her nights picking up men at random bars. Is she looking for love or something much more sinister?
About the Director:
Ryan Wick is an award winning Director, Cinematographer and Editor who lives in New York City. He has worked on countless productions and has taught cinematography classes at the New York Film Academy and Princeton University. His first TV pilot “Marino’s”, written by WGA award winner Sarit Catz not only won Best TV Pilot at the 2010 Garden State Film Festival but also received the Award of Excellence in Television at the 2010 Accolade Competition in LA. Aside from film and TV, he has also directed numerous commercials and music videos for artists such as The Game, Tinie Tempah and Grammy Award Winner Melanie Fiona. He is currently the Director of Video Production at Complex Media, Inc. where he has directed, shot and edited content for brands such as Pepsi, Heineken, Nike, Dodge and many others.
